Modern Tiny Living is one of the most prolific tiny house builders out there. The expert team is hard at work crafting some of the most livable and unique tiny homes on the market, and it has just revealed Sea Chord, a new masterfully crafted unit designed for a luxurious lifestyle with a small footprint.
Designed with a focus on comfort, practicality, and sustainability, this home on wheels affords those who want to simplify their lives a real chance to embrace efficient living and reconnect with nature. It is compact, easily transportable, and highly functional to enable inhabitants to reap all the benefits of tiny living.

Built on a double-axle trailer, Sea Chord is just 22 feet (6.7 meters) long. It boasts a modern exterior clad in icy mint LP Vertical Smart Siding with timber trim around the windows, complemented by a light gray steel roof, ensuring both elegance and durability. However, don’t let the petite size and the rather humble outward appearance fool you, as this compact dwelling comes with plenty of amenities packed inside its small footprint.
It might be small but can surely be used as a permanent residence, as it is built with top-shelf materials, quality insulation, and beautiful finishes for a pleasant look. It is a one-bedroom model, so it would be an ideal choice for couples looking for a small mobile home.
Sea Chord doesn’t exactly break the norm with an unusual or innovative layout, but the well-organized interior maximizes available space and blends simplicity with ingenious design tricks to ensure comfortable living. The floor plan comprises a cozy living room, a practical kitchen, a snug dining nook, a bathroom, and a spacious sleeping loft. Numerous double-pane, tempered glass windows flood the interior with natural light, allowing those inside to truly feel connected with their surroundings.
The entire living space is characterized by a cozy and welcoming ambiance thanks to the soothing color scheme, the maple plywood-clad walls and ceilings, the abundance of natural light, and the thoughtful lighting system. Apart from the windows and full-light doors, this home also has a skylight that makes it extra brighter during the day.

Once inside the house, you are welcome directly into the living room. To make up for the lack of a proper vestibule, the builder added a nifty entry nook with designated hooks where you can toss your bag, jacket, and hat when coming home.
In the living area, you will find seating and lounging space in the form of a custom bench with integrated drawers underneath for storage space. This bench easily converts into a comfy full bed and comes accompanied by a slide-out table that adds functionality to the space, making it suitable for both dining and working. Flanked by glazing, this part of the house seems wider than it is and open to the views outside.
Venturing further into the house, you will find a functional kitchen with custom white cabinetry and sleek stainless steel countertops that add a tinge of industrial vibe to the cooking space. It is large enough to be fitted with full-size appliances for a seamless cooking experience, including a 30-inch undermount sink, an oven, a Furion four-burner cooktop, a range, and a big fridge/freezer. A couple of open shelves and a long catwalk that extends over the living room sofa add extra storage space for pottery, live plants, and other decor items.

Apart from a storage-integrated staircase, across from the kitchen, the builder incorporated a high-top breakfast bar as well as a full-size washer and dryer. The three-foot-long breakfast table boasts a stainless steel worktop matching the kitchen counters and is perfect for romantic dinners with a view. Alternatively, it can also be used as a home office.
Usually, the staircases inside Modern Tiny Living’s tiny homes are designed as stylish hardwood accents, but Sea Chord’s staircase with a safety railing seamlessly blends into the overall design. However, it is still an exquisite example of craftsmanship and offers storage compartments of different sizes for the owner’s essentials.
The loft area functions as a bedroom and is designed as a cozy, private retreat where you can relax and unwind after a long day. It fits a queen-size bed and boasts beautiful floors and two windows that make it luminous and airy. A half-wall ensures protection and privacy, and a couple of built-in cubbies provide easy-to-reach storage.

The bathroom lies underneath the loft and spans the entire length of the house. It is separated from the rest of the living space via a custom barn door that adds rustic charm to the design. Inside, you will find a composting toilet, a small vanity sink, and a shower cabin that combines subway tile with hexagon tile shower walls for a sophisticated look. Floating shelves above the toilet provide a space for towels and toiletries.
With a practical layout and plenty of modern amenities, the Sea Chord tiny house is suitable for full-time, long-term living. Moreover, since it is prepped for solar panel installation, it is a great choice for those who want to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.
